Bowel Cancer Screening
The National Bowel Screening Programme is a free programme to help detect bowel cancer.
It is being offered every two years to people aged 60 to 74 years who are eligible. Bowel screening every two years can help save lives by finding bowel cancer at an early stage, when it can often be successfully treated.
The test can help detect bowel cancer early before you have any symptoms, so we want to encourage everyone who gets a bowel cancer test kit in the mail to use it. It only takes a few minutes and could save your life.
If you have any of the following symptoms, or you are concerned about your bowel health, please contact us for Doctor’s appointment:
• a change in your normal bowel habit that continues for several weeks
• blood in your bowel motion.
