Celebrating Maori Tradition, Strengthening Leadership

Today marked another memorable moment as we celebrated Clayton Rangitutia’s investiture into his new role as Mana Whakahaere of Te Puna Hauora.

The Whakatau was alive with stirring karakia, passionate kapa haka, soulful waiata, and enriching mihi mihi echoing throughout the festive occasion. But beyond the heartfelt performances and delicious hangi, what truly resonated was the spirit of whakawhanaungatanga, a deep kinship and connection that glued us all together.

Also celebrated and confirmed in new roles were Anita Rangitutia (Operations Manager), Morgan Byrne (Clinical Director), and Sean Tercel (Whanau Ora Projects Manager). In their leadership, we see pou of authority, unity, and strength to do great good in our communities. Here’s to embracing the best of Māori tikanga and the journey ahead together as one whanau.
