General Practitioner – Independent Contractor - 06 FTE

Te Puna Hauora is well-established, community-focused practice - a kaupapa-centred, whānau-oriented space where culture, connection and wellbeing are central to how care is delivered. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing clinic, working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team in a supportive, values-driven environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, relationship-based care to whānau while helping shape a service that continues to grow and evolve. 


 About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate GP to provide comprehensive primary care services to our diverse patient population.


Key Responsibilities

· Provide professional and high-quality primary healthcare services.

· Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.

· Conduct patient consultations and develop treatment plans.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

· Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.


Requirements

· Vocationally registered GP with the Medical Council of NZ, or an experienced GP fully independent in practice

· A commitment to whānau-centred, equitable healthcare

· Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach

· Confidence working within an integrated primary care model.
