Tamariki Ora offers parenting information and support as well as developmental assessments of your child; These assessments are delivered by trained Tamariki Ora Well Child Nurses.
We predominantly home visit, where transportation may be an issue we are able whanau in their home; furthermore we offer
Support and education in the comfort of your home; This also gives Tamariki Ora Nurses the opportunity to advise on safety within the home setting.
Te Puna has a number of services aimed at the younger members of our community. This reflects our recognition of their importance in our community and society in general. In addition to the services outlined below, we have a Maori youth worker and a Parenting Programme. These are outlined on the Community Services page here.
